Wow what a headline for a blog. But this is a statement that was made to me today by a friend and all those with us seemed to agree.
"You have the ceremony, then you stand bored whilst they have their photos done, then you eat, party, photobooth, drunk people, taxi home"
When you look at it like that it's a pretty general interpretation of events, but more or less accurate.
I do lots of weddings, and other than me (i.e magician) it's all the same. Photobooth not being used set up in the corner or out the way where no one sees it.
Lights off, music loud and queues at the bar.
I haven't considered someone outside the wedding industry's viewpoint for a while if I'm honest, working in this industry I mostly talk to other exhibitors and of course they all tell me how utterly necessary their service is.
I like to think that at least with me I know the person hiring me is getting met, my personality, all the madness and kookiness of me.
Maybe that's why I'm NOT the same.
Who knows eh
